Back in June 2022, I headed on a journey of a lifetime: a press trip through South Australia’s most stunning natural sites, where I saw some of the rarest wildlife species in the world, and learned about the important conservation efforts that are keeping the flora and fauna thriving in this fantastic region that has recently recovered from the devastating bushfires of 2020.

From cuddling koalas, counting wild kangaroos, and spotting sea lions, to stepping through the breathtaking boulders of Remarkable Rocks and strolling along the steps of Admiral’s Arch, I was fully immersed in nature–and it was absolutely wild. I dined on some of Australia’s best fare, sipped wine in historic cellars, reached new heights with a thrilling rooftop climb, and learned about the Indigenous people who first called the region home.

Here are some links to the stories I wrote on my South Australian adventures, as well as a collection of my 10 favourite photos that highlight the best moments of my 10-day trip through three beautiful regions of South Australia: Adelaide, Adelaide Hills, and Kangaroo Island.
